I am Ruth Aidoo, a Biomedical Science graduate in IBMS accredited degree, currently a Trainee Biomedical Scientist(BMS). A proactive, self-reliant, and highly initiative Associate researcher with a strong background in biotherapeutics and pharmacological scientific delivery and community/ public health research. With a distinguished record of accomplishment in clinical research through my dissertation and a year of practical experience in Dr. Di Leva’s Medulloblastoma Research Lab, I have developed a profound expertise in molecular and pharmacological research.

During my placement year, I had the privilege of contributing to cutting-edge research in Dr. Di Leva's laboratory. I played a significant role in the newly submitted article named:
"Heterogeneous response to c-Met inhibitors,"
which demonstrates my ability to engage in high-level scientific inquiry and contribute meaningfully to impactful research projects. As well as supervising 3 projects students.

NHS Health Education England and Jacquah Health Foundation
In addition to my laboratory experience, I have completed a year of public health research with the NHS Health Education England. My summary report, "Impact of COVID-19 on the BAME population in Berkshire, UK," is published on their website. This project underscores my capacity to conduct thorough and impactful public health research. Furthermore, I have been awarded a certificate in community participatory research, highlighting my commitment to involving and empowering communities in the research process.
